A former magistrate for the Domestic Relations Court of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Mr. Perla is listed in Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mr. Perla has also received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating a lawyer can achieve for 20 straight years. The Martindale-Hubbell AV rating indicates very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as instituted by confidential opinions from members of the Bar, establishing him as a top lawyer in the Cleveland area. Mr. Perla has also been voted one of Super Lawyers Top Attorneys in Ohio since 2011.
Randall Perla is a family law lawyer who has tried cases in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Medina, Lake, Wayne, Geauga, Summit and Erie counties. He has argued cases in front of the Eighth, Ninth and Tenth District Court of Appeals and in front of the Ohio Supreme Court. He served as the Chairperson for the Family Law Section of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers for 13 years. Mr. Perla is the current Chairperson for the Family Law Section of the State of Ohio for the American Association of Justice.

Randall Perla has also been active in many community groups in the Cleveland area. Mr. Perla has served as a member of the Civil Service Commission and the Planning Commission in North Olmsted, as a member of the St. John Westshore Hospital Development Board in Westlake, on committees for the Citizen League in Cleveland, as a Baseball Board Member in Westlake, and as a coach and youth baseball team sponsor in Westlake.
Mr. Perla attended Bowling Green State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971. Mr. Perla then pursued further education at Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He received his law degree in 1974.
